Pennhurst Asylum / Pennhurst State School Spring City PA – Introduction

At this point, I don’t think there’s a location which has been more researched and investigated then Pennhurst Asylum in the state of PA and quite possibly the entire Eastern Time Zone.

It’s a bucket list location for every paranormal researcher that has not already investigated the location world wide. You can find practically all the US TV shows like Ghost Hunters, Destination Fear, Worlds Biggest Ghost Hunt, Ghost Adventures, and so many more.

We plan on making multiple visits over the years to continue to investigate the location. It’s reported by many the more frequently you investigate, the more whatever it is which is there interacts with you.

It’s apparently not without good reason. Much of the activity is centered around spirits which have suffered greatly at the hands of strangers, and people that were supposed to take care of and help them. In 1968 Philly’s TV10 (now NBC10) ran a story called Suffer the Little Children. Pennhurst remained in Operation till 1987 when it was shutdown.

It is said that when investigating Pennhurst, you want to go back often. It takes the entities time to get comfortable to you. This makes sense since many of the entities which are here are children and those that were deemed to have learning and behavioral disabilities.

We will be somewhat regularly going back to Pennhurst to see if this theory holds up.
