Fort Mifflin – Officers Quarters – Part 2 – Everything else that happened.

We had several experiences here.

We had one point where we both felt we were getting touched. One investigator felt her left arm get cold, and the other their left knee cap felt like a small child put their hand on it.

First the REM Pod was constantly registering temperature changes. In the beginning it was registering temperature increases. After a while of this we asked can you make it cooler in here, and the REM pod for a period of time start registering temperature drops.

At this point we did not have BooBuddy (we call him boo bear) or the Plasma Ball in the room with us. We were trying to see if we can get the name and age of whatever it was that might be in the room. This came out of the Paralus app:

We were asking some basic questions, the REM pod’s temperature sensor was detecting temperature changes. Right after we asked if there’s something changing the temperature a whisper comes through. It sounds like it’s asking why?

By now we and the Plasma Ball in the room, and let BooBuddy ask questions


Another two investigators had joined us in the room and more investigators had started checking the door in the room next to us.

We were saying that we never get Yes or Not answers out of the Paralus App…Well it seems something had an opinion about that ….


We were not in the room as we were lending our thermal and digital camera to investigators in the room next door, but another investigator was hanging out and asking what was in this room to touch the plasma ball.


Shortly after that one BooBuddy asked about a favorite song. So much for our saying it never answers YES or NO….


As the night was wrapping up, We caught several additional whispers. What makes them interesting is that they seem to be right up next to the recorder. You can hear the echo caused by the room when people are talking but these have no echo to them.

Around 6 seconds in you can hear a whisper while we are talking:


We caught another which is about 7 1/2 seconds:


And this one, we simply don’t know what to make of this one. It has a bit of an echo, so it could have come from outside. It doesn’t sound like anyone in in the room and has a strange quality to it. It really doesn’t sound like an adult.


It also seems what was playing with BooBuddy the Paralus app were having a good time, maybe getting the Paralus app to respond before BooBuddy could ask the question:

All in all the Officers quarters were certainly active that night. Some of what we caught might coincidence, might be bugs, or something else completely. We do realize the tricks the mind can play on someone when they are listening to sounds, and the mind trying to make sense of what it is hearing. None the less what we have captured is interesting to us and makes us want to further investigate this location.
