Mid-Orange Correctional Facility AKA Hudson Sports Complex

The Mid-Orange Correctional facility was a medium security prison complex which closed in 2011.

It started it’s life as a “House of refuge” in 1825 and would serve as a children’s reformatory. Over the years it’s purpose would change slightly, and at one point it was going to be redeveloped/ repurposed to handle those suffering from drug and alcohol problems.

Our visit in September 2020 was public event hosted by Ghost Hunts USA —
Unfortunately the sheet number of people and the how the event was organized we ended up having to discard much of what we might have found interesting as we could not with any kind of confidence say that what we captured was not due to contamination.
