Hinsdale/Dandy House

We were invited to go along with Jott-Nyx Paranormal to the infamous Hinsdale House in Hinsdale NY.

We have heard so many amazing stories about the Hinsdale House in Hinsdale NY that we could not wait to get there.

One of the most important things to know when you go there, bring bug spray and water proof boots!

We decided to purchase the Ghost Cam Service for the location so we would not have to bring our entire NVR system with us. We will be publishing a review of the service in another article, along with some recommendations and thoughts on how it can be improved on as the service grows. Needless to say though we were glad we did.

Our experience there was fascinating and actually quite peaceful.

There is an inordinate amount of black flies in the house which only adds to the mystique of the house. The area is shrouded in the local folk lore and stories. For us though, the experience was mostly an excellent reminder that it is always “on any given day.”

Interesting things wise things were very quiet. Too quiet.

Full Disclosure: Due to the stories of Demonic Activity at the location, some of the members of the team had reservations about going to the Hinsdale House. This in turned lead to full team smudging and a respectful request to the Great Spirit to protect us all along with an offering of Tobacco.

We are left to wonder if this is why things were so quiet for us.

Jott-Nyx Paranormal bring Lizzy with them on every investigation. Lizzy is a doll and is a long time member of of the Jott-Nyx Team.
